Blue Sargent has found things. For the first time in her life, she has friends she can trust, a group to which she can belong. The Raven Boys have taken her in as one of their own. Their problems have become hers, and her problems have become theirs. The trick with found things, though, is how easily they can be lost.
Blue Lily Lily Blue is my favorite one out of the three that I’ve read. There was so much romance and friendships. I fell in love with the story from the beginning.
Throughout the book, there was magic and so many moments I went “ugh, Blue and Gansey please just get together already”. New characters were introduced and trouble just kept brewing amongst all the goodness. There are multiple moments that I want to see the wonders and magic of the novel come to life simply because it would look so beautiful.
After “The Raven Boys”, Noah wasn’t really mentioned that frequently while the other Raven Boys always have their own moments. Finally, Noah was mentioned more in “Blue Lily, Lily Blue”. Though, he wasn’t in his best condition, which breaks my heart. He just doesn’t get enough attention.
In every chapter, there seemed to be more shocking revelations. All in all, it was ah-mazing!! I love how slowly, though agonizing, Blue and Gansey’s progress is because it’s just very different from instant love and at the same time, the circumstances of knowing that Gansey would die in the end. The friendship between The Raven Boys and Blue seemed to never fail to make my heart warm and fuzzy with how they helped each other through their toughest times.
I hope you guys liked this review! Let me know what you think about Blue Lily, Lily Blue.
